CHAOS COLLECTIVE

How can I develop a fashion collection inspired by Dadaist design methods
and Anti-Fashion that highlights individuality among its wearers?

Chaos Collective seeks to inspire individuals to express their unique selves and embrace
their inner chaos. In this project, I developed a system that randomizes material selection for
garments. This design methodology, inspired by Dadaist art methods that utilized
randomness as an artistic tool, was a significant part of the process. My aesthetics were
influenced by Anti-Fashion theory and the work of renowned Japanese avant-garde
designers – Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto.

The collection employs kitsch and camp as ultimate expressions of aesthetic. The entire process encourages individualism and emotional sustainability in the wearer, an aspect prominently observable in the photo shoot.Chaos Collective seeks to inspire individuals to express their unique selves and embrace their inner chaos.
